Features of Direct Drive Turbo Blowers
The impeller of the turbo blower consists of dozens of blades, which is similar to the impeller of a huge gas turbine. The air in the middle of the impeller blades is subjected to centrifugal force and moves to the edge of the impeller, where the air enters the annular cavity of the pump body and recirculates from the starting point of the blades in the same way. The circulating air flow generated by the rotation of the impeller leaves the air pump with the highest energy for use. The fan adopts direct drive motor, which is compact in structure, small in size, light in weight, low in noise, and has no water or oil in the air source. The turbo blower not only improves the manufacturability of the motor, but also greatly enhances the mechanical reliability of the motor operation and increases its life. At present, many large-capacity fans have adopted variable frequency speed regulation to adjust the air volume. At present, fans with power levels below 1kw, especially fans of household air conditioners, have been driven by permanent magnet brushless DC motors, and the speed and air volume adjustment method is adopted. Fans in the power range of 1~10kw have a huge amount of consumption. They are basically driven by induction motors, and the air volume is adjusted by adjusting the opening of the tuyere.
